Privacy Policy

ActiveWater Labs, LLC ("ActiveWater Labs," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website (mineraldose.com) and how we use it. This is a pre-launch site for our product, MineralDose™ — its main purpose is to let you join our waitlist for launch updates.

The short version: the only personal information we ask for is your email address, when you choose to join the waitlist. To measure our pre-launch advertising we use pixels from Meta and TikTok (details and opt-outs in section 4), and we don't sell your data.

1. Information we collect

• Information you give us. When you join our waitlist, you provide your email address. If you write to us through the contact form, you also provide your name and a message. That's the only personal information we request on this site — we don't ask for your address, phone number, or payment details here.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and content-delivery providers automatically log standard technical information when you visit — such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you view — for security, performance, and troubleshooting.
• Advertising measurement. If you arrive at the site while we're running ads, advertising pixels from Meta and TikTok may collect device and usage information (such as your IP address, browser details, pages viewed, and whether you joined the waitlist). If you join the waitlist, a hashed (one-way encoded) version of your email address may also be shared with these platforms to match the signup to the ad that brought you here — they receive the hash, not your readable address. This helps us measure which ads work and reach people likely to be interested. See section 4 for details and how to opt out.

2. How we use your information

• To add you to our waitlist and email you about our launch, early-bird pricing, and product news.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
• To respond when you contact us.
• To measure and improve our own advertising for MineralDose™ (via the pixels described in section 4).

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use advertising data only to promote our own product — never to advertise anyone else's.

3. How your information is shared

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site and our mailing list, and only as needed for them to provide their service:

• Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — our email provider, which stores your email address and delivers our emails. See Kit's privacy policy.
• Web3Forms — our contact-form delivery service, which relays the name, email, and message you submit through the form to our inbox. See Web3Forms' privacy policy.
• Cloudflare — our website host and security/CDN provider, which processes requests, may set essential cookies, and logs technical data. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts — we load fonts from Google, which may receive your IP address as part of serving them. See Google's privacy policy.
• jsDelivr and Cloudflare cdnjs — public content-delivery networks we use to load website code (animation libraries), which may receive your IP address.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — advertising measurement via the Meta Pixel, which may set cookies and receive device, usage, and conversion information (e.g., that a waitlist signup happened). See Meta's privacy policy.
• TikTok — advertising measurement via the TikTok Pixel, which may set cookies and receive device, usage, and conversion information. See TikTok's privacy policy.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of ActiveWater Labs, our users, or others.

4. Cookies, pixels, and local storage

Advertising pixels. While we're running pre-launch ads, this site loads the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel. They may set cookies and collect device and usage information so we can measure ad performance and show our ads to people likely to be interested. This kind of measurement can count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws, so we give you ways out:

• Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends the GPC signal, we don't load the advertising pixels at all.
• Platform ad settings. You can limit ad targeting in your Meta ad preferences and TikTok's in-app ad settings ("Ads and your data").
• Browser controls. Blocking third-party cookies or using a content blocker prevents the pixels from loading.

Local storage. When you submit your email, your browser saves it in its local storage so the form can remember you on your device — you can clear this anytime in your browser settings. Our host (Cloudflare) may set essential cookies needed to serve and secure the site.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you stay on our waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time, after which we stop emailing you and remove or anonymize your address using our provider's tools.

6. Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
• Access, correction, or deletion. Email us and we'll help you access, update, or delete the email address we hold for you.
• Opt out of ad measurement. Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and the advertising pixels won't load (see section 4 for more options).
• Regional rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or California's CCPA/CPRA — including the right to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, which the GPC signal exercises automatically on this site. Contact us to exercise any other rights and we'll respond as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal information.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information: the site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and your email is stored by our email provider on our behalf. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

This site isn't directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we'll delete it.

9. International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the U.S. and in other countries where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and site evolve. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and we may notify subscribers of significant changes.
