Accessibility
Good water for everyone. Same for this site.
1. Our commitment
We want every visitor — including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or reduced-motion settings — to be able to learn about MineralDose™, join the waitlist, and manage their account without friction. Accessibility is part of how this site is engineered, not a layer added afterward.
2. Conformance target
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat that target as a living engineering requirement rather than a one-time certification: pages are checked against it before publishing, and reported issues are triaged like functional bugs.
3. Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, one
h1per page, and a skip-to-content link on every page. - Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators.
prefers-reduced-motionis honored everywhere — cinematic scroll effects and ambient background animation are disabled for visitors who ask for reduced motion.- A contrast-checked palette: body and supporting text meet the 4.5:1 AA ratio against our dark backgrounds.
- Alternative text on informative images; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
- Labeled form controls, including in the customer portal, and live regions that announce dynamic content such as the waitlist counter.
- The site remains fully readable and usable without JavaScript, and every page is also published as plain markdown.
4. Known limitations
- The marketing pages use rich scroll-driven animation on capable devices. It is fully disabled under reduced-motion settings, but if any motion still gets in your way, tell us.
- The customer portal works with screen readers and we continue to refine its experience release by release.
5. Feedback
If anything on this site is hard to read, reach, or operate, we want to know. Write to hello@activewaterlabs.com or use the contact form. We aim to respond within a few business days and to fix confirmed issues promptly.
6. Compatibility
The site is built for current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, including their mobile versions, and is tested with reduced-motion settings and keyboard-only use. It is designed to work with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA, and TalkBack.
